CELEBRATING OUR COASTAL STEWARDS
Restoring and protecting the natural treasure of Louisiana’s coast are duties embraced by many people with diverse backgrounds. They are volunteers, students, researchers, sportsmen, governmental and business leaders, and sometimes simply coastal residents who care enough about the future of our state to take action.
Every year the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana is proud to honor individuals and organizations demonstrating extraordinary commitment to the coast with CRCL Coastal Stewardship Awards. These awards are CRCL’s highest form of recognition for those who go above and beyond for our coast.
TICKETS
Attendees will need to purchase tickets to attend the 25th anniversary awards ceremony. Tickets will be $50 per person. The event will include a cocktail reception with heavy finger food, two complimentary drinks, live music and networking with the leading coastal restoration professionals in Louisiana.
ATTIRE: CAJUN COCKTAIL
We request that attendees dress as they feel comfortable for the cocktail reception, but generally people wear above-the-knee hem dresses or evening pant suits. Others tend to wear suits without ties. But again, come as you feel most comfortable.
PARKING
The Lyceum Ballroom does not have a parking lot. Street parking Downtown Baton Rouge or 3rd Street Parking (201 3rd St, Baton Rouge, LA 70801) will be the closest locations to the event.
FUNDRAISER INSIDE THE OLD BANK VAULT
During the evening, the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana will have a special fundraising opportunity within the Lyceum Ballroom's old bank vault. Each person will have the opportunity to purchase 'pulls' from the historic lock-boxes inside the vault for a chance to win several incredible prizes!
Be sure to bring some extra cash. You will not want to miss these prizes! All proceeds from the evening are in support of CRCL.
AWARD WINNERS
This year's award winners were announced in February 2020. Visit https://www.crcl.org/coastal-stewardship-awards for a full list of this year's winners.
